A group show with 8 artists painting a 15,000 square foot warehouse to celebrate the opening of the metro line in Santa Monica.
I strived to create a world where the memories of the old train line were mixed among the future made ones from this metro

Blockkids is an idea that I am currently developing. These drawings encompass a boy and a girl. They show these two living a life that many of us remember, doing things we did when we were kids.
Stripping the filters that we label one another by, skin tone, social status, economic status, we can see a person for who they really are and know we are all in it together. We don't have to be from the same background to offer a helping hand.
I was the head artist creating two pieces in one commission. One would be painted in Los Angeles and shipped. And the other would be a combination of on-site painting, and would contain sculptural aspects.

This piece is a body of work done in a 4 month period of time. It tells a story that reads from left to right with figures, lines, and colors.

I was commissioned by Los Angeles Capital to paint a curved wall in their office. The idea was to portray a sunset in some form that was not cliché or literal.
